Mike Crim, CK Commercial’s Founder and Lead Strategist was recently honored by the Baltimore Business Journal with a spot on their 40 under 40 list.  This list recognizes Baltimore’s best and brightest young professionals that stand out from the crowd through their strong commitment to their companies, nonprofits and community.
Selected from hundreds of nominations, Mike’s unwavering commitment to the CK Commercial team landed him a spot on this coveted list. In a year of uncertainty with companies having to lay off their employees, Mike found a way to reassure his team with bonuses and unlimited PTO to help through any stressors resulting from the pandemic. Since its inception 5 years ago, through its foundational belief in putting people first, CK Commercial has been honored with numerous awards for growth, workplace culture and excellence in construction.

CK Commercial ranked number 76 on the 2020 Baltimore Business Journal Top Private Companies list. The list showcases the top private companies based in the Greater Baltimore area ranked by 2019 revenue. CK Commercial’s Safety Program Recognized for 2nd Year in a Row!

CK Commercial was recently recognized for its continued commitment to safety through its comprehensive safety program by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) as a STEP Gold level recipient for the second year.

“We are proud to be recognized by ABC for our commitment to safety,” said CK Commercial Founder and Lead Strategist Michael Crim, “Our people are our priority and maintaining a safe environment remains a top priority for our team.”

ABC’s safety management system, STEP, is a 25-point guide to starting, updating or auditing a company-wide safety program. This safety benchmarking and improvement tool dramatically improve safety performance among construction industry participants. Participants in this program are 827% safer than the industry average.
