CK Commercial Earns Diamond Level in ABC’s STEP® Program for Sixth Year in a Row

CK Commercial is proud to share that it has once again earned Diamond Level status in the Associated Builders and Contractors’ (ABC) STEP® Health and Safety Management System, making this the sixth year in a row. This is the eighth year the company has been recognized for its strong commitment to safety, showing its dedication to high standards on every project.

The Diamond Level is the top honor in the STEP program and sets a high bar for health and safety. Companies at this level, including CK Commercial, have incident rates that are 658% safer than the construction industry average reported by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and they reduce total recordable incidents by 85%.

Since 1989, ABC’s STEP program has offered contractors and suppliers a free, structured way to measure and improve their health and safety efforts. The STEP system helps companies compare themselves to others in the industry and put strategies in place to lower jobsite risks.
