CK Commercial Wins ABC Greater Baltimore Diamond Excellence Award for BCL Headquarters

We are excited to share that CK Commercial has received the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Greater Baltimore Excellence in Construction Diamond Excellence Award for our work on the Baltimore Community Lending (BCL) Headquarters in Baltimore, MD. This award recognizes our dedication to quality, innovation, and skilled construction.

The BCL Headquarters project involved the extensive renovation of over 23,250 square feet in a historic building on North Calvert Street, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The renovation required careful updates to preserve the building’s historic character while meeting BCL’s functional needs. The space was thoughtfully designed to include a Training Center on the first level, Co-working and Business Development areas on the second level, and BCL’s offices and collaborative spaces on the third and fourth levels. The headquarters features offices, conference rooms, a large training room, common areas, and administrative support spaces to support BCL’s mission of fostering economic growth in Baltimore.

The ABC Greater Baltimore Excellence in Construction program is a yearly competition that recognizes top projects by contractors in the region. A panel of industry experts, including architects and engineers, judges the projects on creative problem-solving, craftsmanship, and overall results.

For us at CK Commercial, this award shows the skill, hard work, and teamwork that made the BCL Headquarters possible. We thank our talented team and partners who were key to this success. We are excited to celebrate with other great project teams at the awards ceremony on October 21.
