CK Recognized at Baltimore Business Journal Fast 50 Awards

CK was recently recognized by the Baltimore Business Journal as a Fast 50 Company.  This program celebrates the fastest-growing private companies in the area that have shown incredible revenue growth over a 3-year span.  CK ranked 6th with an 84.89% average percent revenue growth.  The rankings were unveiled during a dinner event on Oct. 17 honoring this year’s List-makers.

Companies were ranked by highest average percent change in revenue in the  three year span from  2016 – 2018.  To be eligible, companies had to have revenue of at least $100,000 in 2016 and $1 million in 2018.  This honor would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the CK team.  

CK Commercial’s Safety Program Recognized by the Associated Builders and Contractors

CK was recently recognized for its safety program by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) as a STEP Gold level recipient.

CK Commercial Founder and Lead Strategist Michael Crim said, “This award represents the steadfast commitment to Safety that not only our CK team has but also our subcontractors.  Safety is our priority and we are passionate about creating an injury free safety culture.  We are proud to be recognized by ABC for our Safety Program.” 

ABC’s safety management system, STEP, is a 25-point guide to starting, updating or auditing a company-wide safety program. This safety benchmarking and improvement tool dramatically improve safety performance among construction industry participants.  Participants in this program are 680% safer than the industry average.  

CK Commercial recognized by Inc. Magazine as a Best Workplace

CK Commercial was recently recognized nationally for its commitment to Workplace Culture in Inc. Magazine’s annual Best Workplaces survey.   CK Commercial was selected as one of 346 companies from nearly 2000 submissions nationwide.  CK Commercial was one of ten recognized in the construction industry and the only general contractor on the list.

Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by Omaha’s Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future.
